UPDATED 21/05/2026
Please read through and take careful note of the following dates, times and general info. Please can we stress the importance of attending ALL classes and rehearsals promptly. It may seem like a lot, but we only get to showcase our wonderful students once a year, and we pride ourselves on the production we put on for them. We hope to make this show the best one yet!
For ease, we have split all the classes into different groups, please see the link for which “SHOW GROUP” your children are in. This is so important, as it informs the rehearsals they must attend for the show.
Please see below all the rehearsals needed. We know it may seem like a lot, but as we only get to show them off once a year, we really do try to make it an amazing experience for all of them. We have tried to coincide these with the student’s regular lessons where possible.
We will need parent volunteers for all rehearsals, please let us know if you’d like to help!

CALL OUT FOR HELPERS AND CHAPERONES
I appreciate a lot of you have kindly offered to help backstage. Thank you! If you think you could help us, even if you are not yet a licensed chaperone, please contact bekky@danceshack.co.uk
Please be aware, it may seem a lot of rehearsals in this email, but to be able to put on an extravaganza like this, we really need the commitment. For those who have been involved in previous years, I’m sure you can agree that the children have an amazing experience. They will not be working solid all of these hours. They will have appropriate breaks and be there to support other classes in their performances. This is where we are able to unite all classes as a Dance Shack family, including all of my teachers who have worked so incredibly hard. We do ask for your patience and understanding and extra time from your children! It gives them an experience that will carry them through all walks of life with confidence, passion and self-esteem. This is what makes Dance Shack so special.
Show-Fee: We do have to ask for a show-fee of £45 and for siblings a reduced fee of £22.50. The fee for the JUNIORS group classes is £25. This fee helps fund the extra rehearsals at the theatre, costumes, licensing chaperones, and all the other expenses involved with mounting a large-scale production. Unfortunately, without this help, we could not put such a show on. We genuinely try and keep all costs down.
Tickets for both shows are available on the link above.
Please feel free to call with any questions. 01372 650464 . Or drop us an email.
