Dance Shack opens in Wimbledon and Surbiton



We are very excited to announce that Dance Shack is opening two new schools, in WImbledon and Surbiton. As with both our existing schools, we are opening at Nuffield Health sites, continuing a relationship that guarantees excellent facilities for all our students. The new schools are due to open in January 2015. 

 

Trip to Les Miserables

A large group from of Dance Shack students, from both schools, will be travelling to see a matinee of this classic show on 15th October, 2014. The trip will include a drama workshop and a tour of the back-stage of the theatre. 

Trip to Les Miserables

Here's 50 students at the end of their Les Miserables workshop, at the Prince of Wales theatre. They went on to tour the Queens theatre and watched the matinee of Les Mis. A fantastic and inspiring day out!

West Byfleet Open Day

January 2014

We have an open day scheduled for 8th March. Everyone is welcome to come along for a taster of what Dance Shack is all about. See West Byfleet page for details.

New teachers

January 2014

We are delighted to have two highly experienced new teachers joining the Dance Shack team. Mark Parton will be teaching the new TAP class and Jennifer Saayeng will be teaching some Street and Musical Theatre classes. 

Tap class 

December 2013.

We are delighted to announce that we are opening a Tap Dance class, starting next term (January 2014)

The class will be on Friday 5-6pm in Studio 1.

Initially this class will be for all ages. 

Please let us know if you are interested in joining this class.

Agency photo-shoot

We have arranged a photo shoot for 13th October 2013 at the Leatherhead branch. This is for "head-shots" of anyone wishing to join Shack Attack, our agency.

 

 

Dance Shack opens in West Byfleet

We are delighted that our new school in West Byfleet is now up and running. It's still baby brother of the Leatherhead school, but with new students signing up every week, it won't be a baby for long!



 

 

Two recent successes from Dance Shack pupils

Abigail Ayton is now appearing in the UK touring production of Disney's "The Lion King" as Young Nala. This is an amazing achievement - this is one of the biggest roles available to a young performer on the stage at the moment. Massive congratulations to Abigail!​

Charlie Bevan has appeared on national TV in a commercial for Sharwoods new Indian wrap kits.
