Julia trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and worked as a performer for a number of years. She has now moved over to the creative side of and works mainly as a Choreographer and Movement Director.


Credits as Choreographer and Movement Director include Infinite Joy (Southwark Playhouse), Lord of The Flies (Greenwich Theatre), Treasure Island, Our Day Out, Arabian Nights, Dick Whittington, Cinderella, Jack and The Beanstalk, Beauty and The Beast (all for the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds),  Cinderella (Wyllyotts Theatre), Northanger Abbey (UK Tour), The Picture of Dorian Gray (English Theatre Frankfurt) – also Assistant Director, Stig of the Dump (UK Tour and Arts Theatre, West End) – also Resident Director, Taming of The Shrew (Brockley Jack), Angels Punks and Raging Queens –as Assistant (Criteron Theatre, West End), Everything’s Coming Up Roses (Electric Theatre, Guildford), King Lear (The Space), Thank You Haters (award winning Music Video), Women Of  Troy (The Blue Elephant), Latecomers Will be shot –Four Screws Loose (Edinburgh Fringe), Tribe (Brighton Fringe).

She has appeared in many pantomimes and has played Principle Boy seven times!


Recently Julia has performed with the charity The Flying Seagull Project who bring much needed joy and laughter to families in refugee camps.


Julia has always had a passion for teaching and has taught at a number of colleges such as Mountview, London Dramatic Academy, The BRIT School, West End in Schools, Step into Dance and JAM.
